I have learned a lot from birth moms. Attending a birth mother panel where we got to hear the stories of 3 birth moms was incredible. I love hearing their stories, learning from their perspectives. I love them. One of the first blogs I read from a birth mother helped me a lot when we were still waiting to become parents. It's still one of my favorites. www.thehappiestsad.com
She just did a post for National Adoption Month. One quote from it that I love: Adoption is scary. It's one of the scariest things I've ever done. But it's also my favorite thing I've ever done; it's the thing I am most proud of. It's brought me the most joy.
